About me
My intention is to live fully and without regret. Having spent much of my career
in health care I’ve witnessed people’s lives change in a flash.
And having dealt with my own fair share of loss I deeply believe that life
is a precious gift to be savored.
I recognize people's strengths with ease, despite their own self-limiting
beliefs. When I support them to access that power, they get very clear about
who they
are meant to be. The outcome is they do more of what they are meant to do
in this lifetime.
I enjoy challenging myself to go to my next learning edge, and bringing my
absolute best to my work! I am happiest when in deep connection with others,
celebrating life and appreciating simple pleasures. I am enriched by connecting
with people of various ethnic backgrounds and love music and dance.
My husband and I parent 2 very different and wonderful teenage boys, Ben and
Aaron (and our dog, Shayna).
I love coaching.
I maintain a reasonable balance between work and leisure and am always on
the lookout for any opportunity to play and laugh!
What I’ve done
I have built my coaching practice upon a solid foundation of working with people
for 25 years as a group facilitator, consultant, trainer, manager, and therapist.
As a Master’s Level Occupational Therapist I’ve rehabilitated
hundreds of people with moderate to severe disability, managed a large multidisciplinary
team in a world class hospital and supervised students and therapists, designed
and ran therapeutic and educational groups and taught at several universities.
As President of Workright, a consulting and training practice devoted
to helping companies maintain a healthy, productive workforce, I have trained
thousands of business managers, supervisors and individual contributors in
injury prevention, ergonomics and wellness. The State of Massachusetts awarded
Workright numerous competitive training grants and Workright earned preferred
vendor status.
Trained by the highly acclaimed Coaches Training Institute I am certified
as a professional co-active coach. Now I empower others to live their strengths
every day – through one-to-one coaching, groups and experiential workshops.
